Photographing Miya and Mark’s gorgeous fall wedding was such a memorable experience, rain and all! From their prep at a nearby hotel to their heartfelt moments together, every detail was a celebration of their love. The morning was filled with laughter, happy tears, and a whole lot of fun as they got ready surrounded by their closest friends and family.
Miya looked absolutely stunning in her one-shoulder wedding dress from Zoo Label, while Mark kept things fresh with a khaki-coloured suit. Their personalities truly shone as they shared moments of joy and excitement leading up to their big day.
One of the most touching moments was when Miya and Mark chose to exchange their vows privately before the ceremony without seeing each other. We found a quiet corner for them to connect and share a beautiful, intimate moment before walking down the aisle. The raw emotion captured in these black-and-white photos will forever be one of my favourite moments from the day.
The ceremony took place at St. John of the Cross Church in Mississauga, Ontario, surrounded by their closest family and friends. It was intimate, emotional, and filled with love. We then moved on to Ellesmere Park for their wedding portraits, where the fall colours created a stunning backdrop for their romantic and fun shots. Despite the rain, Miya and Mark braved the weather, and the foggy, misty atmosphere only added to the romantic vibe, creating photos that felt like they came straight out of a fairytale.
Rainy weather might not be ideal for most brides, but it sure makes for intimate and beautiful photos, especially when you’re snuggling under clear umbrellas. The love and joy Miya and Mark shared in those moments were beyond special, and we captured it all.
The celebration continued at Elmacan in Mississauga, where the couple enjoyed touching speeches, fun games, and performances in their honour. Guests danced the night away, celebrating the newlyweds in the perfect venue to create a lively, intimate space.
Miya and Mark’s wedding day was an unforgettable reflection of their love...romantic, fun, and filled with moments that will be cherished for years to come. It was such an honour to be part of their big day and to capture their memories.
