Some love stories feel like they’re straight out of a fairytale, and Michele and Scott’s wedding day was exactly that. A crisp fall day, golden leaves, a misty glow in the air....it all felt like something out of a dream! And knowing Michele’s love for Disney, it couldn’t have been more perfect.
They first connected online, but with everything closed during the pandemic, their first date was a simple walk in the park. From that first stroll to long walks, cooking together, and birthday pancake traditions, their love grew into something undeniable. When Scott got down on one knee in a candlelit room, Michele knew her fairytale was coming true.
Michele spent the morning getting ready at her family home, surrounded by her closest friends and family. Excitement filled the air as she shared an emotional first look with her bridesmaids, followed by a tearful moment with her parents. She was every bit the Disney princess she dreamed of being. Meanwhile, Scott was with his groomsmen, including Dan (one of my past grooms) which made capturing these moments even more special!
Lakeview in Hamilton was the perfect setting for their heartfelt vows. As Michele walked down the aisle, golden light streamed through the windows, wrapping them in the most romantic glow. The way Scott looked at her? Absolutely unforgettable.
After the ceremony, we stepped outside into a scene straight out of a storybook. The fall leaves were bursting with colour, and the fog rolling in created the dreamiest, most whimsical atmosphere. Every moment felt cinematic, filled with rich autumn tones and pure happiness.
At the reception, Michele and Scott’s love for Disney shone through. From twinkling fairy lights to their romantic Beauty and the Beast-themed cake, every detail reflected their story. But the real magic was in the heartfelt speeches, emotional dances, and a bouquet moment unlike any other. Rather than tossing it, they gifted it to the couple in the room with the longest love story!
The celebration continued well into the night, with guests dancing under the glow of Disney-themed light sticks, making for an unforgettable ending to an already incredible day.
