Ten years of leading creative strategy and improving the systems that support our mission
Creative Leadership for Stories that Matter
Hi! I'm Camille!
I’ve spent over 10 years in marketing and communications, with the last six years dedicated to mission-driven storytelling. My work is a rewarding mix of directing multi-channel campaigns, crafting high-stakes pitch decks for million-dollar partnerships, and ensuring our creative and fundraising teams have the genuine support they need to thrive. I focus on building real connections that grow our mission, managing the full donor cycle to secure the revenue needed to sustain our community impact.
I’m incredibly big on the human side of this work. To better support our complex nine-brand ecosystem, I researched and built a centralized internal agency model on monday.com that cut miscommunication by 80% and significantly reduced team burnout. Whether I’m translating complex research into national impact reports or personally representing our mission at civic events with city leaders, my focus is always on creating a genuine connection. I want every message to be heard and every mission to be deeply felt, ensuring the work we do together leaves a lasting, positive impact on the city I call home.
Stories, Screens, and Everything In Between
I help brands build genuine community and drive engagement through high-impact digital marketing. From capturing a moment behind the camera to leading a strategic campaign, my goal is always the same. I want to create a human connection that inspires a community to support the vital work organizations do every day. I’m here to bridge the gap between a creative vision and the heart of a mission that turns a story into a positive impact.
The National Exclusive: Growing a Community by 1,000+ New Members
I had the chance to produce and host an exclusive sit-down interview with Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray and musician Sam Milby for Castle Conversation, and it was one of those projects that reminded me why I love this work! This was their first and only sit-down interview together, which made the experience even more special. I led the project from start to finish, from shaping the concept and assembling the production team to writing the interview, directing the shoot, and guiding the final edit.
As the host, I wanted to create a space that felt genuine and relaxed, allowing them to share never-before-told stories about their faith and career journeys. The excitement translated directly into a massive impact. Our teasers and trailers reached millions of people across social platforms, and that momentum brought in over 1,000 new subscribers to our community in a single campaign. Being able to bring this conversation to life both behind the scenes and on camera was incredibly rewarding, and it remains a favourite example of how intentional storytelling can reach communities
800,000+ REACH: Breaking Into a New Market in One Week
This project started with a specific directive to reach the Filipino community as a new demographic for our organization. When I realized well-known singer Moira Dela Torre would be in Toronto, I saw the perfect opportunity to meet that goal. What began as a "what if" quickly turned into her first international sit-down interview and a full Crossroads exclusive, all pulled together in less than a week. It was one of those high-pressure, high-energy weeks where the whole team rallied, and seeing the audience respond on such a huge scale was incredible!
I led the concept, wrote the interview, hosted the conversation, and steered the creative from the initial idea to the final cut. At the same time, my team and I ran our event booth, connecting with hundreds of people in person to build our new community presence. Our trailer alone reached over 800,000 audience within the quarter it released, and the momentum grew even further when the artist shared it with her fans and a national Filipino news outlet picked up our press release. It was amazing to see all that reach come together in such a tight timeline! It is definitely one of my favourite examples of how a quick idea can grow into something huge.
NO-COST PROMOTIONS VIA OMNI & CTV
I built a long-term partnership with OMNI Filipino and CTV to reach multicultural audiences at no cost to our organization. Over several appearances, including segments during the pandemic, I promoted our campaigns through a series of media interviews in both English and Filipino.
I handled the outreach, prepped the talking points, and coordinated the team for every segment. This bilingual approach helped us tap into a completely new group of viewers and brought in a steady stream of new volunteers. It remains a favourite example of how building real media relationships can drive a positive impact without spending a cent on advertising.
In-House Promo: A Donor Favourite
This promo was a blast to work on! I co-led the shoot and oversaw the creative direction, working closely with the team to bring this product to life. I led the creative team on set, coordinated the locations and staff, kept everything on track, and even jumped in as an extra on camera!
We produced this entire campaign at low cost by using our own in-house talent and existing connections. It was a fast-paced day that relied on a lot of teamwork and coordination to get every shot right. Even though it only ran for a short time, the response was so strong the product quickly became a donor favourite. It was great to see a project we built from scratch get that kind of reaction.
From Behind the Lens to On-Camera
Another team asked me to step in front of the lens for this promo, and I’ll admit I was pretty nervous! I’m usually the one hosting the interviews or directing behind the scenes, so reading off a teleprompter was brand new territory for me.
Once we actually got rolling, it turned into such a fun experience. It was great to push myself out of my comfort zone and support another department's goals in a totally different way. I’m really glad I said yes to this project. It gave me a new appreciation for the work that goes into our promos and was a great way to connect with our audience.
My team and I created this national recruitment video for our 24/7 prayer line to make our high volume service feel inviting and accessible to potential volunteers across Canada. I worked closely with our producer on the script and took the lead on set right in our office building, where I coordinated all our extras and provided the photography. We also integrated stock footage to round out the visuals, and I made sure every shot felt natural and cohesive. I supervised the final edit to ensure the pacing stayed true to our mission, and it turned out to be a key piece of our outreach strategy that helped us grow a volunteer network that supports millions of callers every year!
I have been a recurring panelist for the See Hear Love show, contributing to several segments on their young adult panel. This specific appearance stands out because it happened just days after my grandparents passed away. Since they raised me, it was a difficult moment, but I chose to show up and channel those emotions into a discussion that really resonated with the audience.
My contributions across these various panels were eventually adapted into a chapter for the book Always Know, published by See Hear Love. It is a project I am incredibly proud of, as it allowed my personal experiences and the lessons from my grandparents to reach a wider audience through both national broadcast and a published collection.
SaaS Promo: IN-HOUSE PRODUCTION
I led the end-to-end production of this info video for Anyone Pray, a 24/7 prayer line SaaS platform. We moved the entire project in-house to keep costs at a minimum, which meant taking on the technical roles ourselves. I took what I learned about using a teleprompter from a previous project and handled the setup myself. Since our on-camera staff hadn't done this before, I coached her through it and paced the script so she sounded natural.
I worked with the team to refine the script and make sure the messaging was clear. On set, I handled the logistics, managed the prompter, and directed the shoot to keep the tone inviting. I also oversaw the post-production workflow to get the final version ready for launch. This video serves as a practical resource for organizations looking to scale their community care through a SaaS solution.

BEHIND THE SCENES

A little peek at some of the campaigns, official artwork, and promo banners I led from start to finish. This gallery shows the creative direction behind everything from hosting and guesting to directing shoots, interviews, and podcasts. It also includes the community engagement and live events where I got to represent our brands. You'll also see the promo photos I took of our regular hosts and young talents, along with the in-between moments that brought these projects to life.

Marketing, Managing, Making Things Happen
From content creation to team leadership, here’s a snapshot of my professional and academic adventures.
2020 - Present
CROSSROADS
I currently work at Crossroads, a non-profit media organization where I’ve spent almost six years pouring my heart into mission-driven storytelling. In my roles as Marketing Manager and Acting Director, I lead the creation of content across TV, streaming, print, social media, and digital platforms to turn big ideas into campaigns that truly move people to become donors. By managing an internal agency model that supports 9 different departments, I make sure our stories are as impactful as they are efficient.
Some days I’m behind the camera directing a shoot to capture the perfect moment. Other days I’m the one in front of it, hosting interviews or representing our mission as a spokesperson. I love leading and mentoring my 5-person creative team, and I stay hands-on from the first spark of an idea to the final launch.
Whether it is a live event or a fast-moving multi-channel campaign, I just love the creative side of making it all happen. But what really motivates me is the mission itself. I believe marketing is at its best when it connects a big vision to the real, positive impact we have on our communities. Every project is a chance to tell a story that matters and to invite our donors to be part of something life-changing.
2014 - 2020
GRyphon
I jumped into the finance world as a Marketing Coordinator at Gryphon right after graduation. To be honest, I didn't know the first thing about investment counsel at the time! But I’m a fast learner, and I ended up playing a key role in developing the marketing department while supporting the CEO and Senior Executives.
I loved the challenge so much that I worked my way up to Office Manager and eventually Manager for the Client Services and Marketing Department. By the time I moved on, I was leading the team, mentoring new talent, and overseeing major marketing reports and materials. It was a steep learning curve, but it taught me that I can thrive in any environment as long as there’s a story to tell and a team to lead!
2011 - 2014
During my post-secondary studies, I gained hands-on experience as a part-time Senior Technical Coordinator and Audio-Visual Technician at both the Munk School of Global Affairs and Hart House. In this role, I honed my technical expertise by managing audio-visual production for a wide range of events, from intimate book launches and seminars to high-profile political debates, lectures, weddings, and large-scale audio and video conferences. This experience not only sharpened my AV skills but also taught me how to execute complex productions flawlessly under tight timelines and diverse audience demands.
